One of the best devices that you will ever get is the Sonic Resonator, which helps you explore risky regions and gather useful minerals. With this device, you can stun fishes, break big mineral clusters, and remove Bloom Biofilm. However, unlocking it requires finding hidden blueprint fragments, scanning additional structures, and gathering many crafting materials. In this guide, we will show you the location of the Sonic Resonator fragments, where to find the required resources, and how to craft the device.
How To Unlock Sonic Resonator
To unlock the Sonic Resonator blueprint in Subnautica 2, you need to find and scan two Sonic Resonator fragments. Once you scan both fragments, the blueprint will be added to your Fabricator, and you will be able to craft the tool.

First, from the life pod, look toward the north. Travel north for a distance of around 350 meters, where you will arrive at the Old Habitat. At this point, take a northeast route under the Old Habitat. This area will have a door, through which you will move and have one Sonic Resonator piece.

Once you get that piece, take a left turn and go through the northwestern door. In this direction, there will be another piece of Sonic Resonator, which can be scanned. Once both pieces are scanned, you will get a blueprint of the Sonic Resonator.

A Processor is also required for building the Sonic Resonator. Next, collect the following items: 6 Titanium, 1 Silver, Copper Wire for Wiring Kit, 2 Lead, and 1 Battery.
To mine the resources, simply swim up to a large ore vein and use your Sonic Resonator. Charge the tool until the vein breaks apart into smaller chunks. As long as you have enough free space in your inventory, the pieces will be picked up automatically.
