In On the Hunt, the players continue the main story of Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred by meeting old friends and tracking down a mysterious creature. The quest starts at the Observatory in the Skovos region right after completing Fate Laughs at Us All. During this mission, you will speak with Tyrael, fight Mephisto’s Huntsman in the market square, and chase the Huntsman’s Basilisk across the area. On the Hunt Quest
On The Hunt is one of the important quests in Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred. The On The Hunt quest takes place in the Observatory found in the Skovos area. At the completion of the Fate Laughs at Us All quest, talk to Oracle Cyra at the Observatory. After finishing talking to her, the quest On The Hunt automatically starts.
After receiving the On The Hunt quest, head to Tyrael’s Encampment, which is located southwest of the Observatory. Upon arrival, talk to Tyrael and tell him that you were given an audience by Queen Adreona. While talking to Tyrael, you come to know that Tyrael is well aware of Lilith. Soon after that, Tharra shows up at the encampment.
Finding Lorath
Once the conversation ends, go to the market square that can be found south-southeast of where you currently are. You will find the quest marker on your map, which makes it easier to locate the location. Upon reaching the location, you will notice several Hands of Akarat become Mephisto’s Huntsman.
Defeat the boss and collect the Sweat-Stained Journal that drops from it. Read the journal, and then try to mount the Basilisk. The Basilisk will run away, so keep following it to its southwest destination. Mount the Basilisk again after reaching the spot where it ran off to. The Basilisk will run away again and keep leading you until you reach Lorath. Have a conversation with Lorath and check if he’s okay. Finally, mount the Basilisk again and have it unlocked as your mount.
