Mother’s Guidance is a short but important main story quest in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred. It takes place at The Mind’s Eye in the Skovos region and begins automatically after completing the previous quest, What Was Given. Mother’s Guidance Quest
Mother’s Guidance is one of the main quests of the story mode in Diablo 4. This quest is located in The Mind’s Eye region called Skovos. You don’t need to go looking for the quest on your own, because it starts as soon as you finish the previous quest called What Was Given.
In What Was Given, you will explore The Mind’s Eye, talk with several Fragments of Memory, and finish the mission by talking with Lilith. After that, you will have access to Mother’s Guidance, and you can move to the next story quest.
After completing What Was Given, start The Sightless Eye in order to return to Zerae’s Shore. Once there, talk to Lorath, who will be standing right there beside you. Select the dialogue choice that lets him know that you have found out how to force Mephisto into the Void by using the Blade. One thing to remember is that sometimes the NPC will not be present in the area, so you need to restart the game to find them.
Upon delivering this message to him, the Mother’s Guidance quest will come to an end. You are rewarded with 11,760 XP and 2,130 Gold. Right after completing this quest, you will automatically receive the next quest, A Devil in the Garden.
