How to Get Flax Trees
Head south from your starting point. As soon as you reach the area, you need to be on the lookout for any blue plants, preferably those that grow at higher altitudes. There are several of them present in the area, so take some time exploring before you see them.
Be careful while gathering, though, since there are enemies around in this region. You need to find blue flowers upon reaching the area. These are the plants that give Flax Fibre. They’re quite common across the island, especially in higher ground areas, so you can gather a lot in a short time.
If you don’t want to farm it, you can buy Flax Fiber from the Food Merchant. They usually have around 30 in stock, and each one costs 25 Piastre, so it’s an easy way to stock up quickly if you have some money to spare.
