How to Get the Fast Travel Bell in Windrose

Getting around in Windrose can quickly become tiring, especially when you’re constantly running back and forth with a full inventory. That’s where the Fast Travel Bell comes in handy, letting you move between locations much more easily. However, the game doesn’t explain it very clearly at first, so it’s easy to miss. In this guide, we will show you how to unlock the Fast Travel Bell, craft it, and set up your own fast travel points.

How to Get the Fast Travel Bell

You’ll unlock the Fast Travel Bell recipe as soon as you smelt your first copper ingot. You can also sometimes find a Fast Travel Bell as loot while exploring. Clear the debris and defeat the enemy inside, and you’ll be able to open a chest that gives you a Bell and unlocks its recipe. Also, keep an eye out while exploring shipwrecks; you can sometimes find extra Bells inside chests there as well.

To use fast travel, you’ll need at least two Fast Travel Points placed in different spots. Once both are set up, you can easily move between them whenever you want. Also, avoid placing your bell in water or on docks. There’s a bug where if you try to move or remove it, the bell can fall into the ocean and be lost.

How to Craft the Fast Travel Bell

Once you have the blueprint, open your building menu (press B), go to Crafting > Utilities, and you’ll be able to craft the Fast Travel point. To craft it, you’ll need 10 Copper Ingots and 3 Rope. You can make these at a Workbench. Copper Ingots come from Copper Ore found in caves, and Rope is made using Plant Fibre.

The bell doesn’t work on its own. You need to place it inside a Fast Travel Point, which you can build from the construction menu by pressing B. Each Fast Travel Point requires 20 Wood and one Fast Travel Bell to make.
