The Precipice of Echoes Ruins can be found on the southeast side of Fort Perwin, just at the base of the Mountain of Frozen Souls. When you reach near this location, you’ll notice that it is labelled as Mysterious Energy on your map.
To solve this puzzle, step on the floor tiles in the proper sequence in such a way that your path will connect the same icons. It’s important to connect two of the same icons without breaking your line.

Stand on the starting symbol and look for the same matching symbol nearby. Walk in a straight line to that matching symbol. Once you reach it, new symbols will appear and show the next direction. From there you need to do the following:
- Go back to the previous matching symbol when the path points you backwards.
- Step onto the fish-shaped symbol next.
- Follow the path carefully toward the matching fish symbol ahead.
- Stay close to the edges and move slowly so you do not step outside the line.
After reaching the fish symbol, continue to the triangle symbol and connect it to the matching triangle nearby. In the final section you need to:
- First, connect to the next triangle.
- Then step onto the fish symbol again.
- Instead of taking the direct route, go around the house to reach the matching fish symbol.
- After that, move to the nearby small symbol instead of following the river immediately.
- Stay close to the outer edge while leaving the outside line open.
- Continue around the back until it connects to the next symbol. Once connected, follow the only remaining path.
- It leads to the river,
- then directly toward the house,
- and finally to the last symbol.
When the final connection is complete, the puzzle is solved, and you can stand up again. After you finish both puzzles, you can interact with the Abyss Cresset and collect your Abyss Artefact.
