The Demeniss Royal Guard Shield is already upgraded to Refinement Level 5, and therefore, you don’t need to spend additional materials on this item. Additionally, this shield includes two Abyss Gear bonuses that make this item even more useful for combat:
- Damage Reduction 1.0 – You take a little less damage while blocking or defending.
- Guard Stamina Cost -3.0% – You use a little less stamina for blocking, and therefore, you can stay longer in your guard without running out of stamina.
Overall, this is a very good shield if you want a better defense while managing your stamina while defending. The Abyss Gear bonuses are temporary, and therefore, you can change these if you want. If you talk to any witch, you can get the gears that are currently equipped to this shield and change them to different gears that you think are better for your build or playstyle.
Demeniss Royal Guard Shield
To get it, first go to Demonise and travel east until you reach the Church of East Demon. Once you get to the church, go towards the corner area where you will find an entrance going down into a mausoleum. Be careful when going down into the mausoleum because it is filled with traps.
Once inside, continue going down the main path until you get to the first lever. Flip the lever, and continue going down the path. Be careful of the trap triggers on the floor and on the walls. A little further down, you will find another lever. Flip this one too, and at the end, you will find the Demise Royal Guard Shield.
