The Flashpoint Update in ARC Raiders brings you the “A Test Case” quest, where you’re tasked with taking down Hornets and Fireflies to complete the it. In this guide, we’ve outlined everything you need to know to complete the quest as efficiently as possible and get the amazing rewards!
Starting the Quest & Finding the Firefly
You get the quest from Shani, who tasks you with bringing various ARC parts and having them delivered to Apollo. You can start by finding and defeating a Firefly. The good thing about this quest is that you can complete it on any map.
You simply need to locate a Firefly, for which one common spot is near the Field Depot. The easiest way to defeat it is by staying behind cover or breaking the line of sight so the Firefly can’t use its flamethrower at you. Then, focus your fire on its thrusters to take it down quickly.
Once you’ve defeated the Firefly, loot the Firefly Burner from it and store it in your safe pocket. This item is required for the quest and must be delivered after extraction.
Taking Down a Hornet & Completing the Quest
Next, you’ll need to locate a Hornet, which often appears alongside a Firefly or a Wasp. You just need to make sure to ping them to confirm their exact type. Take it out and loot the Hornet Driver, placing it in your safe pocket.
After you’ve collected both the Firefly Burner and the Hornet Driver, simply deliver them to Apollo to complete the quest and earn rewards that include 1× Firework box blueprint, 3× Seeker Grenade, and 3× Blaze Grenade.
