How to Get to the Strongbox
You’ll need to start from the Hernand Castle. Go inside the main building, take the stairs on the left, and ascend until you reach a door that’s on the left. Use a key to open the door, go inside, and you’ll find the Strongbox (Playback Device) inside the room. Examine the device carefully; you’ll find a few dials on the back. Turn the second dial clockwise until the dials start moving together.
Note: Keys to unlock the door can be easily purchased from the Hernand Back Alley Shop. They’re also easily found throughout the world.
Playing the Notes on the Strongbox
Once you’re done with fixing the dial, you’ll need to play the notes in the right order, which should be 1-7-6-7-3-4-3. You’ll see that there are some buttons in the front which you simply need to press in the correct order. Once you’ve pressed the buttons, the Strongbox will open, and you’ll get a Small Box inside, which you pick for yourself. The Small Box includes many rewards, but the recipe for Lavish Meal is probably the most useful, as it helps you restore stamina.
