When exploring the Hexi region in Where Winds Meet, you will find a small sidequest called “A Mirage of Wine”. This wandering tale is a short and simple quest where you meet many strange characters who have the same name, Mu. As you travel across different areas, each of them will ask you for the same thing. You need to speak with all of them to move forward in the quest. In this guide, we will show you how to complete “A Mirage of Wine Quest” in Where Winds Meet.
A Mirage of Wine Quest
To start the Wandering Tale “A Mirage of Wine quest,” go to the Karez area north of Jade Gate Pass in the Hexi region. From there, travel southwest until you find Mu the Heartless lying on the sand. Talk to him, and this will start the quest.
Mu the Shameless
He will tell you that he is very thirsty and ask you for Spring’s Bounty wine. Next, travel west of Jade Gate Pass towards the Western side of Horsehelm Village. You will find Mu the Shameless here. He will also ask you for Spring’s Bounty wine.
Mu the Faithless
Now, go towards the east direction of Wraithridge Pass. There you will find Mu the Faithless. Speak with him, and he will also ask you for Spring’s Bounty wine.
Mu the Mindless
Now, go towards the Heroic Tomb, located south, just near the lake. Here, you will meet Mu the Mindless, crying for his dead camel. He will also ask for the Spring’s Bounty wine.
Meet Grandpa Mu
Now, go to the western edge of the Heroic Tomb. You will see all four Mu’s gathered around Grandpa Mu. Eavesdrop on their conversation and, after listening, follow them towards the water.
A short cutscene will play, and once it finishes, the quest will be completed. Finishing this quest will reward you with Echo Jade, Hexi Exploration, Character Experience, and Coins.
