In Cold Storage door in Resident Evil Requiem, you will find that the handle breaks and the door cannot be opened normally. As this area is important for the main story, you will need to find another way to get inside. To open the door again, you need to explore other parts of the building, collect items, and repair the mechanism. In this guide, we will show you how to open Cold Storage and collect the important items inside.
How to Open Cold Storage
After reaching the Parlor, you will find the East Keycard, which lets you unlock more areas of the building. Once you have the keycard, go to the east side of the building and make your way through the area.
As you explore the east side, go up to the top floor. There you will find a dead body pick the ID Wristband Level 1 from it. Return to the Central Hall and go into the West Hall. You may find the Chef enemy here. You can defeat him or simply avoid him and move on.
Continue through the hallway till you reach a Security Point Level 1 terminal. Use your ID Wristband Level 1 to unlock the door. Inside, you will find another enemy. After entering the secured area, take the first left. This will go to the Custodian’s Office, where you will find the Wrench.
Exit the office and cross the hallway. Go up the nearby stairs and at the top, you will reach the office and kitchen area. From the staircase area, go back to the Cold Storage door. Interact with it and use the Wrench to repair and open the door. Once the mechanism is fixed, you will be able to enter the room again.
Cold Storage Rewards
Cold Storage has many useful items. The most important item here is Artificial Heart it is required to continue the story. You can also collect some loot, like Scrap materials, Handgun ammo (inside two boxes) and A Transfusion Bag at the back of the room
