The Bloodedge Demon is one the difficult bosses that you need to defeat in Nioh 3. This optional Boss uses elemental attack, fast melee combos, and long range projectiles that can deal a lot of damage to the players. He is not found in a proper location and can only be summoned by killing the fallen players in bloody graves. In this guide, we will tell you how to defeat the Bloodedge Demon Boss in Nioh 3.
How to Find the Bloodedge Demon

When exploring the map, you will find bloody graves with red swords stuck in the ground.
- Interact with these graves to fight the fallen players.
- Each player you defeat will contribute to summoning the Bloodedge Demon.
- After fighting a few of them, you may see a message “A Bloodedge Demon has appeared,” while resting at a shrine.
Once this happens, defeat a few more fallen players. When you kill them, red sparks will fly in certain directions. Open your map and follow the red arrow that will lead you to the Bloodedge Demon location.
Bloodedge Demon Boss

The Bloodedge Demon Boss will constantly attack you using elemental magic. You can tell which element it is using by the colour of its glowing arm:
- Green – Wind
- Red – Fire
- Yellow – Lightning
- Blue – Water
The Bloodedge Demon Boss melee attacks are fast and deal a lot of damage. He will also throw big projectiles at you.
How to Defeat the Bloodedge Demon Boss
Use the Ninja style to defeat the Bloodedge Demon Boss. Keep moving around the area and throw Ninjutsu projectiles at him. Try to hit the demons from behind whenever possible. Make sure you have the Evade Ninjutsu equipped and successfully dodging the attacks will refill your projectile slots. If the demon gets stuck behind objects, he can find it difficult to return back to the area.
You can then deal damage to the demon by throwing projectiles at him when he is stuck. Since the Bloodedge Demon uses elemental attack, equip a Sole Core that deals elemental damage in the Yang slot of your Onmyo Box. For the Yin slot, use the Sole Cores that will give Fire Shot Talismans, Water Shot Talismans or other ranged elemental magic.
Bloodedge Demon Boss Strategy

To beat Bloodedge Demon, it is required to have the perfect Ninja skills and Sole Core.
- Activate Throne Blade Counter.
- Unlock the Evade skill in Ninja Style.
- Equip one soul core that gives ranged damage.
- Equip another soul core that summons a Yokai to deal heavy damage.
Before fighting the boss, kill some nearby regular enemies to fill up all your Ninjutsu charges. If possible, equip anything that increases Ninjutsu gauge recovery and the Ninjutsu damage.
