In Modern Warfare 4, there is now an event called Boot Camp, which allows players to unlock the F.N.G M4 blueprint at no cost. In order to get this, the player will have to complete nine challenges in Campaign, Multiplayer and DMZ. Different rewards will be gained by completing each challenge. Here’s how to complete all nine challenges and unlock the F.N.G M4 blueprint.
All Boot Camp Event Challenges Explained
Modern Warfare 4 now has the Boot Camp event, which gives you the opportunity to unlock several free rewards, including the FNG blueprint of the M4 assault rifle. There are nine challenges which you have to complete in the Boot Camp event, and there are nine different challenges in the Campaign, Multiplayer, and DMZ modes.
Mayhem Challenge

Mayhem Challenge involves completing the first mission from the Campaign. All that is needed for this challenge is to begin the Campaign and then do the first mission in it. It will give you access to the Night Detail loading screen event, the Cho Operator for Multiplayer, and DMZ will be unlocked by the usual progression of the Campaign. If you have not yet begun the Campaign, you can unlock both at once.
Lethal Operator Challenge
To pass the Lethal Operator challenge, you should kill 20 enemies in DMZ. Enemies can be both computer-controlled and human, so there is no need for you to find any real players in DMZ to pass this challenge. All you have to do is deploy in the DMZ and start killing until you get 20 enemies down. Completing this challenge rewards you with a 30-minute Double XP token.
DMZ Upgrades Challenge
DMZ Upgrades challenge requires you to hit DMZ level 5. DMZ is a level-based game itself, and therefore playing multiplayer will not be useful for this particular challenge. Just keep on playing the DMZ game, killing the enemies and completing the missions to get the XP. You will automatically level up to 5 and complete the challenge to unlock the Hazard Ready weapon charm.
Get Printing Challenge
In order to complete this challenge, you are required to print five different items with the 3D Printer at the Forward Operating Base (FOB). The 3D Printer will be unlocked at DMZ level 2; thus, you can complete this challenge while levelling up to Level 5. In your match, you must gather some crafting materials and extract them in a safe manner. After coming back to the FOB, you can use those materials to print five items. After printing all five items, you’ll receive a 30-minute Double Weapon XP token.
Kill Block Challenge
Kill Block is one of the challenges in which you need to make 10 headshots through the Kill Block game mode. As you get different weapons in each round of this game mode, you will have to adapt to the weapon you are provided with. All you need to do is to focus on headshots, and keep on playing until you get all 10 of them. Completing the challenge rewards you with a 30-minute Double XP token.
Apex Skills Challenge
In order to fulfil the Apex Skill challenge, it is required to obtain 20 kills with the help of a weapon that has an Apex attachment while playing any game mode. In general, it is mandatory to upgrade your weapon before unlocking its Apex attachment. Yet, there are some default loadouts which have an Apex attachment by default, hence making the challenge easier to complete. If you have the Vault Edition version of the game, a lot of its weapons that are available to be unlocked will come with their own Apex attachments.
Proving Grounds Challenge

Proving Grounds is a mission in which you need to obtain a minimum B rating in the Intermediate Mobility Course. But before doing this, you have to do something else first. The thing is that you cannot just go to the Intermediate Mobility Course, because before doing this, you will have to do the Beginner Course in the Proving Grounds. And after completing it, you will be awarded the Training Wheels calling card.
Combat Outpost Challenge
In the Combat Outpost mission, you will have to complete five operator kills while playing with the help of a vehicle in the Combat Outpost gameplay. The kill through a vehicle can be done by running over your enemy using the vehicle or by killing him by firing the tank.
At intervals, vehicles are spawned at your home base; therefore, look out for a vehicle that can be utilised for performing kills. In case your vehicle gets destroyed or you are killed, get back to your home base for another vehicle. Keep getting vehicle kills until you reach five, and you’ll earn a 30-minute Double Weapon XP token.
Inflation Challenge
The last mission entails earning $100,000 in the Inflation mode. Money drops when players are killed, and therefore it will be wise to collect any money that drops in your way. It is not necessary for you to kill the enemies; you can simply allow others in your team to do it and then collect their money. Collecting money in this mode is fairly easy; thus, you may end up completing the challenge in less than one match. Once you’ve collected $100,000, you’ll unlock the Eat Lead spray.
How to Claim the FNG Blueprint
The completion of the Boot Camp challenges can be done in whatever order you like. Please bear in mind, though, that there won’t be an on-screen notification after you complete one of the challenges. In order to track how far you have gone in the challenge, head over to the Events tab and check the Boot Camp event challenges. This way, you will know what you have accomplished and what you still have to do. After completing all nine challenges, you will get the FNG blueprint for the M4 assault rifle as a freebie.
