One of the first objectives of the major quest Sacrament in No Rest for the Wicked is to get to Sacrament City. This guide covers the path and steps to reach Sacrament City with information on everything you’ll encounter along the way, keeping things simple and easy to follow.
Start From the Fire Pit

The fire pit is where you start your adventure; this is an area you have already been to earlier in the game. Your main goal in this area is to find the Mess Hall key to access the Blacksmith Fillmore, who is currently being attacked by three enemies inside the Mess Hall.

To advance through this area, you will need to go to the large bonfire, take the right and go to the iron gate, and collect the Mess Hall key from the dead body. Then, return to the Mess Hall to open the door, defeat the enemies, and speak with Fillmore, who will give you a Gate Handle Lever so that you can open the gate for access to the Sacrament city.
Open the Gate to Enter the Sacrament

Next, use the Gate Handle Lever to open the iron gate near the bonfire. Keep going straight, then take a left to reach a cave entrance with a lever in front of it. Stand on top of the slightly raised platform that’s outside of the cave and pull the level to go up; the raised platform works like an elevator and takes you to the top—Orban Glades. Go right from there and jump down and move forward, you’ll see a whisper at this location which you can claim.
As you move forward, you’ll come across the first main boss, Warrick the Torn. While this boss is not especially difficult, it may take a few attempts to succeed. Once the boss is defeated, the path forward becomes clear. A cutscene will play after the boss fight, and the entrance to Sacrament City will become available to you.
