In Schedule 1, setting up a fully automated mushroom growhouse at your bungalow can save you a lot of time and effort while producing a huge amount of high-quality mushrooms. This guide will tell you everything from arranging your equipment and setting up automation to hiring employees and stocking your shelves so you can have your growhouse running smoothly with minimum work.
How to Fully Automate Shroom Bungalow
Before you start, gather all the items for your build. You’ll need:
- 10 mushroom beds
- 6 large shelves
- 2 mushroom spawn stations
- 1 AC unit
- 3 MK2 mixing stations
- 4 drying racks
- 1 brick press
- 5 lockers
- 1 bed
Once you have everything, head into your bungalow.
Setting Up the Growhouse

First, place your mushroom spawn stations. One goes in front of a window, and the other right behind it in the middle of the room. Next, arrange your mushroom beds: two along the wall, then three beside them on one side, and repeat the same layout on the other side.
Now, set up the drying racks along the walls next to each other. Don’t forget the AC unit, which should be placed next to the spawn stations and set to cool.
Head into the kitchen to place your shelves. Put one in each corner and three along one wall in the next room. In front of each shelf, place a mixing station. Then, add the brick press along the wall and line up all five lockers together. Finally, place your bed in front of the sink.
Automating Your Growhouse

With the layout done, it’s time to set up full automation. Start with your mushroom spawn stations. Use your clipboard to assign each station to a destination shelf. Then, select your mushroom beds in groups and assign them to their corresponding drying racks.
Once all beds are linked, select all four drying racks and set the target quality to heavenly. Next, configure the mixing stations with a threshold of 10 and connect them to the brick press. Finally, assign the brick press to deliver its output to a shelf.
Setting Up Filters and Storage
Access each large shelf and set up the filters:
- Grain bags for the first two
- Syringes for the next two
- Mushroom substrate for the next two
- Mushroom spawn for the last two
Do the same for the second large shelf. For the shelves behind the mixing stations, add horse goo, Viagra, and Atti, applying each to all filters to save time.
Hiring and Assigning Employees
You’ll hire:
- 2 Botists
- 2 Handlers
- 1 Chemist
Use the clipboard to assign lockers, supply racks, and workstations.
Stocking the Shelves
To get started, you’ll need:
- 40 grain bags
- 40 syringes
- 40 mushroom substrate
- 160 Atti
- 160 horse goo
- 160 Viagra
Stock the filters on each shelf with the correct supplies. Your handlers will automatically move materials to the right places.
Once the shelves are stocked, put some money in the lockers. Your workers will immediately start working, and the growhouse will run fully automatically. When supplies run low, simply use your phone to order more and have it delivered to Loading Bay 1. The handlers will restock everything for you. The only task left for you is occasionally collecting the finished products from the designated shelf.
