The Hawkwing Set is a powerful gear set in Where Winds Meet that’s especially useful if you want to increase your damage during longer fights. It makes you stronger as you trigger Affinity effects, making it a solid choice for combat-focused builds. In this guide, we’ll tell you what makes the Hawkwing Set special and explain the simple ways you can unlock and collect its pieces.

The Hawkwing Set also comes with special bonus effects that activate when you wear multiple pieces together. When you equip two pieces, you get a small increase in your Affinity Rate by 0.1%, making it slightly easier to trigger Affinity effects during combat. Equipping four pieces unlocks the main power of the set. Whenever any of your attacks triggers Affinity, you gain a buff called Hawkwing. This buff increases your Physical Attack by 2% for 5 seconds, and it can stack up to five times, allowing your damage to increase quickly during longer fights.
How to get Hawkwing Set

You can get the Hawkwing Set in two main ways while playing the game. The first and most reliable method is through the Seasonal Shop. Here, you’ll need to spend Jade Fish to buy Gear Chests, which have a chance to contain pieces of the Hawkwing set. If you’re regularly earning Jade Fish, this is an easy way to slowly complete the set.
Alternatively, parts of the Hawkwing set can also drop from certain bosses once you’ve unlocked them. Heartseeker becomes available after you finish the Still Shore questline, and defeating this boss can reward you with Hawkwing gear. The Void King is another boss, but you’ll need to complete the Gleaming Abyss questline first to unlock this fight.
