Once Upon a Time at Kazkovyi is a side quest in Stalker 2’s Stories Untold that tasks you with restoring power, investigating a ruined stage, and clearing deadly threats from an abandoned camp. This guide walks you through each objective step by step, highlighting key locations, enemy encounters, and rewards so you can complete the quest efficiently and safely.
Quest Objectives
You’ll start the Once Upon a Time at Kazkovyi side quest by talking to the Scoutmaster in the Burnt Forest region. When you go to drop off tools to Banzai at Kazkovyi, you will find his wounded friend, the Scoutmaster who will ask you to help him around the camp.
Your objectives for this quest are to start the generator at Kazkovyi, check Kazkovyi’s summer stage (optional), and get rid of the threats in the Kazkovyi camp building.
How to Start the Generator at Kazkovyi
Completing this task is fairly simple since all you need to do is start the generator at Kazkovyi. Go inside the structure whose location is shown on the map above and you’ll find the generator inside. You’ll find the Instructions kept on top of the generator as well. Now all that’s left to do is turn on the generator and you’re done with the objective.
How to Check Kazkovyi’s Summer Stage
Start inside the house whose location is shown in the map image above. Run a thorough investigation through the house and you’ll find some useful things like Bandage, Scientific Medkit etc. You’ll come across a white double door that opens up and leads you outside.
You’ll see some remnants of broken-down structures outside, search, and you’ll find the body of Les Kicker, whose body can be looted for resources. You’ll also come across small green boxes containing the FMJ, which can be collected.
The real task for you is to get up on the broken structures and you’ll find the terrace of a structure which has a locked gate. Since the gate leading you inside is locked, you’ll need to get the key for it.
From the terrace, on your right, you’ll be able to see a run down structure which is actually the stage. The stage has an opening on its rooftop through which you can enter the locked stage, grab the key, and complete the objective.
Note: You’ll encounter Cat Bayun inside the structure whom you’ll need to kill in order to progress.
How to Get Rid of the Threats in the Kazkovyi Camp Building
The last objective is for you to get rid of the threats in the Kazkovyi Camp Building. The building door is unlocked, so you won’t have a hard time getting inside. Once you’re in, start searching the building, and you’ll come across these creatures that you’ll need to get rid of. There will be plenty of them, so be prepared. Once this objective is done, search the building, and you’ll find the bodies, which you can loot for resources.
When all three objectives are done, go back to the Scoutmaster, and he will ask you about how everything went. You’ll get three options here: tell him everything is done, ask him about what do you need to do again, or simply leave.
Telling him that you’ve done everything he asked for will help you get coupons as rewards, so that’s the smart choice here. And with this, the Once Upon a Time at Kazkovyi quest will conclude.
