Getting the Disguise Description
You must complete a brief portrait assignment before you can wear any disguise. This requires finding the appropriate portrait that corresponds with the appearance that you will be attempting to mimic. When you have completed this portion of the assignment, your character will obtain a description associated with that disguise. The game does not provide clear instructions from this point onward; however, the description is the only information required to continue.
Finding the Disguise Shop
Once you have acquired the disguise description, you’ll need to visit a disguise shop. The quest marker is not always accurate when directing players to the shop. Therefore, you will need to locate the nearest one yourself. As long as your portrait task has been completed, the shop will acknowledge the disguise description you’re carrying.
Inside the shop, when talking to the shop owner, you can choose the option to wear a disguise. There will be an option at the bottom that matches the description of the disguise that you have received earlier. If you choose that option, you will be able to put on the disguise and continue your quest.
Important Warning About Removing Disguises
When the disguise is activated, complete the objectives of the associated quest you’re currently working on. If the disguise comes off before the quest has been completed, you may fail some aspects of that quest and will have to repeat the process from the beginning. Wear your disguise until you’ve completed all aspects of the quest and remove it safely when you finish.
