In the Where Winds Meet quest “Blind to the World,” there is a stone gate puzzle that you may easily miss if you are not aware of what triggers it. In this guide, we will explain where to find the contraption, what to do if the first bell pattern does not work, and using the blue flower vision to reveal the correct order needed to open the gate.
Finding the Puzzle Area

At one point in the Blind to the World quest, you will reach a stone gate that does not open. You will also see a chest and a pillar nearby. Interact with the pillar to activate it, this causes a row of bells to chime above you. Make note of the order that each bell chimes and the pressure plates mounted above each bell. It is those pressure plates that your arrows must hit.
Note: Before moving forward with the quest, activate the boundary stone that is next to the gate so you can return back to it later, if necessary.
Why the First Bell Pattern Doesn’t Work

You can’t open the gate immediately though. Shooting the bells after the first ring in the order they chimed may seem reasonable, but it doesn’t accomplish anything. Technically, there is another step you have to take: you need to use one of the blue flowers you have probably seen earlier in the area. You should be able to find one close to the door.

Step on that flower to shift into the alternate mode. While you’re in that state, trigger the pillar again. The bells will now play a different sequence—this new pattern is the one the contraption actually responds to. If you’re low on arrows, there are spares scattered around, so grab more before shooting.
Hitting the Bells in the Correct Sequence

Once the alternate pattern plays, watch the order closely. After that, shoot the bells by hitting the pressure plates above them in the exact sequence you saw while the flower effect was active. For example, the correct order may start with the closest bell, jump to the far right, move to the far left, and finish on the middle one.
If you recreate the new sequence correctly, the gate finally unlocks and you’ll be able to push it open.
