If you’re upgrading your Gunsmith from level 1 to level 2, you will need a few sets of Rusted Tools along with some Mechanical Components and a Wasp Driver. But even on their own, Rusted Tools are worth grabbing. Recycling one will give you a nice batch of materials usually eight Metal Parts and a Steel Spring. Sometimes, depending on your setup, breaking down a Rusted Tool will give you slightly different amounts, but the idea is the same: you always get valuable scrap out of it.

You can find these in areas marked as mechanical or industrial, especially on the Dam and Spaceport maps.
