Digging Up Dirt Quest Objective
This quest is given to you by Celeste who tells you that one of the scouts had seen a member of the Official Toledo Tubes Management make a Dead Drop inside the Santa Maria Houses. She thinks that this is a good opportunity to dig up some dirt on them, hence she tasks you with the mission to locate the Dead Drop.
How to Complete the Quest
To locate the Dead Drop, you’ll first have to make your way to the Santa Maria Houses in Old Town on the Buried City map. The Dead Drop is in one of these houses.
Upon arriving at the location shown in the map image above, go straight and take a left that leads you toward the back alley situated on the northern side of the Santa Maria Houses.
You’ll come across a house with a window that has a pile of sand in front of it — this is where the Dead Drop is located. Earlier, it was possible to simply climb through the window and get inside the house, but the window has now been sealed. However, don’t worry — there are other ways to get in.
Head a little backward and you’ll be able to climb onto the rooftop of the opposite house. Keep going until you come across a sort of plank that will help you reach the rooftop of the house where the Dead Drop is located. Drop down through the opening you’ll find, but be careful, as there are Turret and Fireball roaming around.
Once you reach the ground floor, you’ll come across a sort of statue placed in the middle. Interact with it to complete your quest objective. Once you’re done, try spotting the shabby window a little to the left of the statue. This is the window that will help you escape the house without the difficulty of going through the rooftop again. Simply kick the window and it will go down.
Upon successful completion of this quest, you’ll be rewarded with 1x Buried City Residential Master Key and 21,000 XP.
