The Oni’s Breath Inn Quest in Ghost of Yotei takes you to a strange inn hidden in the Urara Forest, in the eastern part of Ishikari Plain. Once you get inside, a raider will challenge you to a riddle game where your answers decide who drinks. But after the riddles are over, the situation takes a leading to a tough fight and a reward when it’s over. In this guide we have provided the answers to all the riddles along with a strategy to beat the raiders.
Oni’s Breath Inn Quest
The Oni’s Breath Inn is found in the eastern part of Ishikari Plain, deep inside Urara Forest. When you reach the main entrance, a bouncer will stop you and tell you that you need to be wearing a mask to get in. To equip a mask, press the Options button on your controller, go to the Gear section, and put on a face-covering mask.
If you don’t already have a mask that the bouncer accepts, you can get one nearby. Look to the right of the inn’s entrance and you will see a Bamboo Strike activity. Complete it, and the spectators will reward you with the Shattered Demon Mask, which you can equip to enter the inn.
Oni’s Breath Riddles
Once inside, you will find a raider sitting alone at the back. He will invite you to join him for a drink, but there’s a twist. He will ask you three riddles, get one wrong, and you drink; get it right, and he drinks. Here are the answers to all three riddles:

After you answer all three, things take a turn, the raider accuses you of being the Onryo. This triggers a showdown outside, followed by a fight with the rest of the raiders. Be ready for a tough battle. Once it’s over, you will unlock Oni’s Breath Inn as a fast travel point.
How to Beat the Raiders
The fight starts right outside the inn, where you will face a man wearing a golden mask. You can take him out first before dealing with the rest of the enemies. One of them carries a heavy club and hits really hard; you can’t parry his attacks, so it’s best to take him down quickly.
There’s also an archer shooting arrows from a distance, so keep an eye out for that. The remaining raiders aren’t too tough. Use your kunai and explosives to make things easier. Once you defeat everyone, the Oni’s Breath Inn side quest will be complete.
