How to Get Triple Bypass Legendary Repkit – Borderlands 4

The Triple Bypass is one of the best repkits you can get in Borderlands 4. At first, it may seem like a straightforward healing item, but it is so much more. With three total charges, along with a unique perk for aggressive playstyle, it becomes a key part of some high-skill builds. Below, we will go over exactly how to obtain it, what makes it stand out, and why it is worth the grind.

    Triple Bypass Overview

The Triple Bypass is unique among the repkits in Borderlands 4 because it contains three full charges. That’s already really good for long, drawn-out fights, but the real treat is its special perk, Heart Pump, which grants a 30% chance to get one charge back every time you kill an enemy. So as long as you’re securing kills then you should be able to keep your repkit going without running dry on healing.

This makes the Triple Bypass ideal for aggressive players who like to stay in the middle of the action instead of hiding behind cover.

How to Farm Triple Bypass Legendary Repkit

After unlocking Terminus Range, visit The Claim, an older Auger mine in the Dissected Plateau section of the Fadefields, to fight the boss called The Backhive; it drops the Triple Bypass. This mine is located near Zadra’s hideout, which is a good fast-travel point so you can farm it faster on repeat runs.

You’ll also spot a Moxxi Big Encore machine nearby and it allows you to respawn the boss at any time in case you want to farm the encounter indefinitely, and you’ll also have some nearby vending machines to sell extra loot or restock ammo. However, reaching The Backhive isn’t the most pleasant trip.

During the battle, the Backhive will spawn Kratch that explode on impact. Take them out immediately to prevent getting caught in their blasts and suffering extra damage. The path is also littered with poison pools and parkour sections that can slow you down, so it’s best to take your time and stay patient while farming for the drop.

Note: Before you can even start farming for the Triple Bypass, you need access to the Terminus Range region. This part of the map only opens up after progressing far enough in the main story and completing the Shadow of the Mountain mission. Until you finish that quest, the abandoned Auger mines tied to this repkit remain locked and inaccessible.

    Synergy and Build Potential

The Triple Bypass becomes even stronger when paired with the Now With Caffeine specialization, which unlocks once you finish the main campaign. This late-game system rewards you for using repkits by restoring 25% of your action skill energy every time you use one.

Since the Triple Bypass gives you three charges, using all of them restores up to 75% of your action skill energy instantly. This makes it an absolute game-changer for builds that rely heavily on action skill usage—like the Nuclear Winter Harlowe setup. With the right rotation, you can keep your skills active almost constantly while maintaining steady healing throughout fights.

    Final Thoughts

The Triple Bypass isn’t just another legendary repkit—it’s a top-tier piece of gear for anyone running action skill–focused loadouts. Its mix of survivability, resource recovery, and combat rhythm makes it one of the most rewarding items to grind for. While getting it requires a bit of effort and patience, the payoff is worth it once you experience how seamlessly it fits into high-paced builds.
