In Ghost of Yotei, Altars of Reflection are special hidden spots where Atsu can pause, reflect, and learn new Techniques. One of these altars, the Bear Altar of Reflection, is hidden near Bear Rock. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to reach it, and what to look for along the way.
How to Find the Bear Altar of Reflection

The Bear Altar of Reflection is located near a massive hill in the area. You can find this right at the top of the same hill where the Bear Rock Hot Spring is located in Bear Rock. From the road, face the small fort nearby and take a left. This path will lead you up the hill. As you climb, the mountain gradually narrows, forming a smaller section you’ll need to follow along.

If you happen to visit at night, the altar is easier to spot thanks to its glowing light at the top. During the day, you can find it by looking for the distinctive totems at the bottom, which have yellow-painted heads. The final stretch requires a bit of climbing, but once you make it to the top, you’ll reach the Bear Altar of Reflection.

To complete the ritual, simply bow down by swiping down on your touchpad, and you’ll unlock the altar. Altars of Reflection are hidden spots scattered across the map where Atsu can take a moment to pause and reflect. When you visit one, you get the chance to learn a new Technique pick whichever one you want. If you manage to find all the Altars of Reflection across Ezo, you’ll earn the Moments of Reflection trophy. To get it, you need to discover a total of 30 altars.
