All Dye Merchant Locations in Ghost of Yotei

In Ghost of Yotei, dye merchants let you change the colour of your gear, helping you customise your look as you explore the world. Each merchant is tied to a specific colour, white, black, blue, green, or crimson, and can be found in different parts of the map. Some are easy to find, while others require a bit of exploring or even solving a small task.

All Dye Merchant Locations

Dyes are cosmetic items in Ghost of Yotei that let you change the appearance of your armour. While they don’t affect your stats or gameplay, they’re a great way to personalise your look as you travel across the land. Each dye is linked to a specific colour and can only be unlocked by visiting that colour’s dye merchant.

White Dye Merchant

If you’re looking for the White Dye Merchant, head north of Jade Grove, near the left side of the Yotei River. The merchant is located between Mount Yotei and the river. It’s easy to spot; once you’re close, you will see a bunch of white clothes hanging around the area. That’s your cue, you’re in the right place.

Crimson Dye Merchant

The Crimson Dye Merchant is a little different. Go to the Stone Jaw Coast in the Ishikari Plain region. Once you’re there, you will need to light a fire to summon the merchant. After a short cutscene, the Crimson Dye Merchant will appear and become available to you.

Green Dye Merchant

The Green Dye Merchant is located between the Saru Plains and Hidaka Grove. Travel northeast along the Niikappu River and keep going until you see a house with green decorations. That’s the green dye house, and you will find the merchant there.

Black Dye Merchant

The Black Dye Merchant can be found south of Sarobetsu Forest, just to the left of the Teshio River. When you arrive at the marked spot, you will see a small hut. Right in front of it, you will find the black dye merchant waiting for you.

Blue Dye Merchant

To find the Blue Dye Merchant, go south of the Orito Forest, along the eastern edge of the Otsuki River. Look for a hut surrounded by blue cloth and a garden filled with blue flowers. That’s where the merchant stays, right in front of the hut.
