Dark Shrine Worship Hall Light Puzzle Solution for All Difficulty – Silent Hill f

The Dark Shrine Worship Hall is one of the first challenging puzzles you meet in Silent Hill f’s dream world. As you follow the Fox Mask through the Worship Hall, you will have to solve a series of statue and light puzzles to reach Sakuko. This guide will take you through the light Puzzle step by step, showing you how to line up the statues and use the lanterns, in any difficulty.

Dark Shrine Worship Hall Light Puzzle

In Silent Hill f, you’ll come across the Light Puzzle inside the Dark Shrine Worship Hall, specifically in the Eastern Chambers. You’ll reach it after solving the Door Puzzle and making your way through the central door with the help of the fox statues.

Here, you’ll need to adjust the Fox and Rabbit statues so they face the right directions, which will let you lower all the cages to the floor. Once the cages are down, their doors unlock, and you can grab the two lampshades, Restrain and Talon. Place these on the altar lights to block the beams, and doing so will reward you with the key you need to move forward.

Dark Shrine Worship Hall Light Puzzle Solution (All Difficulty)

Silent Hill f lets one pick between Story, Hard, and Lost in the Fog difficulty settings in both combat and puzzle. Setting the difficulty of the puzzle determines how many hints you will get. On Story, the clues are very easy. On the harder ones, there aren’t very many hints, and you have to pay attention to put things together.

In this part of the puzzle, you will see two platforms, each with a fox statue and a rabbit statue. Your goal is to rotate them so that all the cages are perfectly level. Once they’re aligned, you can take the lantern shades from the cages. Then, place the lantern shades on the lights, which will give you access to the key.

Story Difficulty

Make sure in both cases, the fox and rabbit are facing each other to have everything align properly.

Hard Difficulty

For this one, you will need to place the statues so that the fox and rabbit are facing away from each other on both platforms. Then the puzzle aligns, and you can move you will move forward.

Lost in the Fog Difficulty

For the next part of the puzzle, arrange the statues such that the left platform has the fox and rabbit on the left facing away from each other, and the right platform has both fox and rabbit there facing left. With this arrangement, all the pieces will line up, and you will be able to move forward.
