To complete the “Buds of the Wish” quest in Hollow Knight: Silksong, you will meet Alchemist Zylotol, who gives you a special tool called the Wish. You will need to find three hidden buds in the Wormways and bring them back to him. If you complete the quest, you will get a useful healing item that can help you survive longer in battles. Plasmium Locations: Alchemists Assistant
First, you will need to get a Simple Key. There are a few of these hidden around Pharloom, but the easiest one can be bought early in the game from a vendor in Bone Bottom for 500 Rosary Beads. Also, make sure you have the Cling Grip ability before heading out, you will need it to get through this area.
Now, head west from Mosshome to find the entrance to the Wormways. There will be a section where you have to jump across a gap between two big hanging cages, keep going west until you come across a big locked door. Use your Simple Key here to open it and continue inside.
Make your way upwards through the Wormways. At the very top, you will reach a vertical shaft, climb it to meet Alchemist Zylotol. He will give you a special item called the Wish.
Bud 1
Before heading down, go to the bench on the left and equip the Wish tool Zylotol gave you. It’s a red-slot tool and works kind of like the Sting Shard; you activate it the same way. Now drop down to the chamber just below Zylotol, the first bud is there.
Be careful, Small worms will pop out of the ground and try to bite you. If you have the Crest of the Wanderer, you can slash quickly to keep them away. The worms falling from the ceiling can’t be killed, but you can hit them to regenerate your health.
Bud 2
The second bud is much further down, near the bottom of the Wormways, where the area starts to look more green and blends into the Moss Grotto. Head down and then east. When you start seeing moss and greenery, you’re in the right place. Go through a short hallway, and you will find the bud.
Bud 3
You will find the third bud in the big chamber. Go towards to the southwest direction, keep heading left, and just after you enter the westernmost room, you will see it. Absorb the final bud, and then go back to Alchemist Zylotol.
Rewards
Once you return to him, Zylotol will reward you with a Plasmium Phial. This is a red-slot tool that gives you a temporary extra mask of health. You can use it three times, and it refills when you rest at a bench. You get a total of 20 uses, but once you run out, you can go back to Zylotol and refill it using rosary beads.
