All Inner Demon Locations in Wuchang Fallen Feathers

There are six Inner Demons to find and defeat in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. To unlock the “Quelling Madness” trophy or achievement, you’ll need to defeat all six in the same playthrough, so don’t miss any! These aren’t just regular enemies, as they’re special demon fights that each drop Bo Blood, which is used for upgrading your abilities. Keep an eye out, and make sure to take them all down before finishing the game.

1. Inner Demon Location

Just outside Shu Sanctum in the Worship’s Rise region, you’ll run into the Gluttonous Monstrosity boss. A little before that, there’s a tough enemy waiting in a courtyard, be ready for a fight. From that courtyard, head left down the stairs and cross the bridge. Keep following the path, and you’ll eventually reach the Annalum Shrine.

Once you’re at the Annalum Shrine, go through the courtyard and head straight across to the far side. There’s a path behind the manor that leads down some stairs to a gazebo. As you get close to the gazebo, an Inner Demon will appear in the middle of it. Take it down, and you’ll be rewarded with the Shadow Stone Needle – Agility and a Bo Blood.

2. Inner Demon Location

The second Inner Demon you’ll come across is at Doomwillow Beach. Start from the Doomwillow Beach Shrine and follow the path that takes you up the large staircase and hill toward Lu Mansion. Once you reach the Lu Mansion Shrine, take the elevator down to the lower area. At the bottom, you’ll notice two tree-like enemies waiting for you.

As you get closer to these trees, your Inner Demon will appear. Here’s a tip: if the demon gets hit by the trees first, it’ll actually start fighting them, so you can use that to your advantage during the battle. Defeating this Inner Demon will reward you with the Shadow Stone Needle – Strength and Bo Blood.

3. Inner Demon Location

The third Inner Demon can be found near the Refugee Camp, close to the Main Rebel Camp and Zhenwu Temple, after you’ve defeated the Bo Sorcerer. The easiest way to get there is to start at the Refugee Camp. Head down the hill and take the path to the right.

As you follow this path, you’ll reach a watery area just outside Zhenwu Temple. There’s usually a strong bird-like enemy walking around here. It’s a good idea to take it out first, since it can be a tough fight. Keep walking along the outer wall of the temple, and eventually, your Inner Demon will appear. Defeating it will reward you with some extra Bo Blood and the Status Stone Needle.

4. Inner Demon Location

To find this Inner Demon, start from the Cloudspire Outskirts Shrine. Head toward the nearby house with a ladder, climb up, then cross the courtyard to reach another small house with a second ladder. Once you climb it, you’ll arrive at one of the red pyres that summon infected enemies.

From here, go past the pyre and stick to the left side. You’ll come across a hill swarming with infected enemies. Carefully make your way down, watch out for the cannonballs being fired at you. At the bottom of the hill, you’ll see the ruins of a burning building. Head toward it, and your Inner Demon will appear. Defeating it will reward you with some extra Bo Blood and the Shadow Stone Needle.

5. Inner Demon Location

Once you’ve made progress in the White-Robed Elder’s questline, you’ll eventually reach the Avian Marsh. Start from the Avian Marsh Shrine, step out of the shack, and head toward the large rock sticking out of the ground. From there, take a left past the big clam.

Follow the tree-like path that winds around and upward until you reach a Lotus enemy. Look down to spot an infected enemy standing on a lower branch. Right in front of that enemy, you’ll notice a decaying branch. Carefully walk onto that branch to grab the item; it’ll collapse under you, dropping you into a small arena below. As soon as you land, the Inner Demon will spawn and attack. Defeating it will reward you with some extra Bo Blood and the Shadow Stone Needle.

6. Inner Demon Location

If you’re not looking closely, it’s easy to overlook the last Inner Demon. Enter the neighboring tower at the Snowfall Palace Shrine, where you fought the Mistress of the Night before.

Once inside, make your way to the central room. The first time you walk in, you’ll see a lift lowering. After clearing out the enemies, step onto the lift, but here’s the trick: quickly jump off before it rises again. Wait a moment, and a secret lift will appear underneath. This hidden lift will take you to a lower floor.

Once you reach the bottom, the Inner Demon will spawn. Defeat it to get more Bo Blood, the Feathering Stone Needle, and even the Boreal Abyss one-handed sword, which is great if you’re going for a magic-based build.
