In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, there’s a special NPC known as the Panda Vendor who lets you trade Bamboo Shoots for rare items, weapons, and other useful gear. The Panda doesn’t stay in one place, though it moves to different spots as you progress through the story. Here’s everything you need to know about what the Panda sells and where you can find it.
Panda Vendor Locations in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
When you find the Panda, you can trade Bamboo Shoots with it for some really useful items. Early on, you will be able to pick up things like the Steampowered Spear or a Feather Pearl, each costing just one Bamboo Shoot. If you save up a little more, you can buy the Divine Ward spell for three Bamboo Shoots.
As you progress further in the game, the Panda’s stock gets even better. Later on, you can unlock items like the Wei-Nine-Disciplinary, Force Benediction and the adorable Panda Hood, each costing five Bamboo Shoots. You can even grab materials like the Lustrous Red Feather for a single Bamboo Shoot.
The best part is that the Panda’s shop keeps expanding as you move through the story. So don’t worry if you don’t see everything at once, just keep playing, keep collecting Bamboo Shoots, and check back with the Panda every now and then to see what new goodies it has for sale.
The Panda NPC in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers doesn’t stay in one place; its location changes as you progress through the story. Here’s where you can find it in different areas:
Worship’s Rise – Shu Sanctum

Continue right from the river intersection when you first encounter Nian Suichang. You will find a Bamboo Shoot that disappears close to a cave opening. The Panda Vendor and the Storyteller are both present inside the cave.
Cloudspire – Snowfall Palace

Go to the main chamber in the upper section of the palace complex. Step onto the elevator plate, but quickly stepping off it will trigger a hidden elevator that goes down to a secret treasure room. Inside, you will find the Panda NPC, but watch out, because an Inner Demon will also spawn in there.
Mt. Zhenwu – Zhenwu Altar
From the altar, follow the sloping path to the left. You will spot a cave and an NPC nearby. Don’t go inside that cave, and whatever you do, don’t agree to that NPC’s proposal to continue further; it’s not part of the Panda’s location.
