In Destiny 2’s Edge of Fate expansion, every class gets access to a brand-new Exotic armor piece. But don’t expect an easy pickup. These powerful gear items are tied to the Legendary campaign. In this guide, we’ll cover how to unlock each class’s Exotic and what makes them a must-have for your endgame builds.
Hunter – Moirai (Chest Armor)
To get the Moirai chest armor for Hunters, you’ll need to complete the Edge of Fate campaign on Legendary difficulty, just like with the Titan and Warlock gear. This Exotic is a great addition to any Strand-focused build. It upgrades your Threaded Spike melee by letting it interact with Tangles in a special way. If the spike hits a Tangle, it triggers an explosion and instantly bounces back to you. And if there’s no Tangle around, it gives you back some melee energy instead. Moirai is perfect for Hunters who like quick, fluid combat with plenty of melee action and mobility.
Warlock – Eunoia (Gauntlets)
You can unlock the Eunoia gauntlets for Warlocks by completing the Edge of Fate campaign on Legendary difficulty. These Solar-focused gloves are perfect for anyone using the Hellion ability. With Eunoia equipped, the fiery projectiles from Hellion become even more dangerous, they hit harder the farther they fly. Once they reach a certain range, they burst into searing fragments, causing additional scorch damage in the area. If you enjoy raining fire on enemies from a distance, this Exotic turns your Warlock into a mobile flame cannon.
Titan – Melas Panoplia (Gauntlets)
To get your hands on the Melas Panoplia gauntlets for Titans, you’ll need to finish the Edge of Fate campaign on Legendary difficulty. Once that’s done, the armor will be yours as a reward. This Exotic is tailored for Solar Titans who love hurling their Throwing Hammer around. Whenever you collect Firesprites or rapidly take down enemies with Solar abilities, you enter a special state called Forge Master. While in this mode, recalling your hammer after it hits a target triggers a powerful blast, known as a Perfect Recall. Keep landing hits or picking up more Firesprites to stay in this enhanced state longer. It’s a great pick if you’re all about aggressive hammer plays and fiery takedowns.
