In Palworld, the Pal Surgery Table is a handy tool that lets you take better control of your Pals. If you want to change a Pal’s gender for breeding purposes or give them powerful new passive skills, this table makes it possible. In this guide, we’ll explain how you can change your Pal’s gender, add or replace their passive skills, and how to unlock and build the Pal Surgery Table at your base.
How To Change A Pal’s Gender In Palworld
If you want to change your Pal’s gender, here’s what to do. First, add the Pal you want to swap into your party. You need to then head over to the Pal Surgery Table and choose the “Change Gender” option. Keep in mind, you’ll need 1 Pal Reversal item to do this.
The Pal Reversal is a new item you can get by spending 35 battle tickets at arena vendors, or you can pick it as a reward after finishing a bounty. You might even come across one while looting chests or salvaging.
How To Change A Pal’s Passive Skills In Palworld
To do this, just add the Pal you want to improve to your party and interact with the surgery table. You’ll need some gold and a special implant item to perform the procedure.
Implants are new key items you can find or buy in the game. You can get them from arena vendors for 30 to 50 battle tickets, depending on how rare they are. They’re also sometimes given as rewards for bounties, and it’s possible to find them in chests or by salvaging.
Once you have the implant you want, you can pick one of your Pal’s passive skill slots, either swap out a skill you don’t want or fill an empty slot. Each implant will cost you between 10,000 and 50,000 gold, depending on how rare the skill is. You can keep adding or changing skills as long as you’ve got enough gold and implants.
How To Make A Pal Surgery Table
The Pal Surgery Table is a new structure you can build at your base. It gives you more control over your Pals, especially if you’re trying to breed stronger Pals and need a certain gender or specific passive skills.
You can unlock the Pal Surgery Table once you reach technology level 36, and it’ll cost you 3 points to do so. When you’re ready to build it, you’ll need to gather 30 Refined Ingots and 20 High Quality Cloth. Once it’s set up at your base, you’ll be able to use it to customise and upgrade your Pals.
