In Stellar Blade, the Scarlet and Volt’s Plight mission is a side quest. In this guide, you will learn how to start the mission, where to find the drone, and how to beat all the enemies in each wave. From fast-moving Boomers to the strong Battle Droid, we will help you step by step so you can finish the quest and get your rewards easily.
Scarlet and Volt’s Plight DLC Mission
Scarlet will give you a quest, Scarlet and Volt’s Plight. To start the quest, head to the Great Desert using Adam’s Tetrapod. Your first task is to find a drone. You will find the drone in the Great Desert near a building that is destroyed. As you get closer, you will see Volt barking at it. Climb up the rocks nearby and interact with the drone. Once you are done, return to Scarlet and talk to her to complete this part of the quest. You will get 2 Bone-Wrenches as a reward.
4 Waves of Enemies
Now, you will move on to the Operation, which has a total of 4 waves of enemies.
Wave 1
Wave 1 is simple. You’ll face two Creepers and two Cricket Boomers. The Boomers will roll toward you and explode, so take them out quickly before they get too close.
Wave 2
Wave 2 brings in two Heavy Droids and two more Cricket Boomers. The Heavy Droids can shield themselves, making them hard to damage. Move around and find better cover to attack them. Sometimes, a floating red drone will appear. Shoot it when you see it; it explodes and deals a lot of damage to the Heavy Droids, knocking them down. Kill all the droids. After that defeat the Cricket Boomers to move forward.
Wave 3
In Wave 3, you will first deal with four Guard Turrets, one Cricket Boomer, and one Heavy Droid on the ground. After you destroy at least two Guard Turrets and the Heavy Droid, two more Heavy Droids and four Turret Droids will drop down onto the top platform.
Try to build up your burst power so you can handle these enemies quickly. Keep an eye out for floating red drones again; shooting them will cause big explosions that can damage the Heavy Droids heavily.
Wave 4
For Wave 4, a single Battle Droid will appear. It has several health bars and is quite tough. The Battle Droid can fire a strong laser that charges up slowly but fires very fast. The moment you see it charging, quickly move to another cover spot because getting hit can take out a big chunk of EVE’s health.
Final Boss Fight
The Battle Droid will also summon floating red orbs that follow EVE around. You can’t avoid them just by switching cover, so you will need to shoot them down. If they reach you, they will cause AOE damage that rapidly drains your health.
For this fight, it’s a good idea to use the X-Burst skill. This gives EVE unlimited ammo and turns her shots into a powerful laser, letting you deal heavy burst damage to both the Battle Droid and the red orbs. Once you finally defeat the Battle Droid, you will receive Dorothy’s Parasol key item. Take it back to Scarlet to complete the quest.
