In Stellar Blade, you will find a puzzle in the Scrap Yard called the Ticker, Buzzer, and Clunker puzzle. In this puzzle, you need to help a robot named Digger. To free him, you have to find and activate three machines: the Ticker, the Buzzer, and the Clunker. Each one has a small puzzle you need to solve. Once you finish all of them, Digger will be free and will start working as a vendor. This guide will show you how to solve the puzzle step by step.
Scrap Yard Ticker, Buzzer, and Clunker puzzle solution
Enter the Wasteland area and move past the supply camp. To find In the Ticker, Buzzer, Clunker puzzle, you will need to head to the northeast part of the Wasteland. Take a left and you will find droid enemies. You can just follow the in-game waypoint to reach here. When you arrive in the Wasteland, you will meet a robot named Digger (D1G-g2r). He will ask you to solve the Ticker, Buzzer, and Clunker puzzle to set him free.
How to Free Digger
Here you goal is to free Digger. Once you manage to free him, Digger will turn into a vendor, and the quest will be finished.
Ticker
First, look for the Ticker. You will find it on the far left side. Get above the orange crate and jump through the cliffs to reach the top. Once you reach the top, interact with it.
Buzzer
Now, head to the left and push the second yellow box forward. Climb on top of the box, jump through the gap in the railing, and move to the right side of the platform. Here, you will see a small cart full of trash. Push this cart onto the nearby pressure plate.
This will lower a nearby gate, allowing you to push a third yellow box through the new opening. Climb on this box, jump up to the higher platform, and interact with the panel to send power to the Buzzer.
Clunker
After that, go back down to the ground and keep moving forward. You’ll find two trash-filled carts and two pressure plates. Place each cart on a pressure plate, this will lower a large metal gate.
Go through this opening, grab the yellow box on the other side, and push it back to where the trash carts were. Then, push the box to the left and use it to climb up to a ladder. This ladder will take you straight to a lever that activates the Clunker.
If you follow these steps correctly, the crane will activate and Digger will be freed. But if you make a mistake, everything will reset, and you will have to start over and repeat the whole process.
