Jasmium Crystals are one of the most valuable and important resources in Dune: Awakening, essential for crafting high-end gear and upgrading your base. Found only in the harshest regions of Arrakis, harvesting them requires careful planning, the right equipment, and a good understanding of where to look. In this guide, we will provide you all the details.
How to Get Jasmium Crystal
To get Jasmium Crystals, head towards Sheol, the left corner of the Hagga Basin. To go to Sheol, take an upgraded Ornithopter that has storage space. To save fuel, fly in Vulture Mode. Jasmium Crystal deposits are easy to spot; they are big, glowing crystals. They are present in Sheol’s radioactive zones.
Keep an eye out for small rocky patches surrounded by darker terrain. When you are close to the Jasmium Crystals, you might also find glowing green caves and tall crystal spikes sticking out of the ground. You need to use Cutterray Mk4 or Mk5 to obtain Jasmium Crystals.
Before you go mining Jasmium Crystals, make sure you are properly equipped with a Radiation Suit as Sheol is heavily radioactive, and without at least a Mk4 Radiation Suit, you won’t last long. Also, use Iodine Pills to reduce radiation damage.
When you’re in a radioactive area, keep an eye on your radiation meter. You will see a small red diamond icon next to your skills – this shows how much radiation you have absorbed. Once it reaches 75%, you need to get out of there fast. If it hits 100%, you will die instantly. To clear the radiation from your system, just fly away from the contaminated zone, and your exposure will reset back to zero.
