How to Put Prices on Products and use the Pricing Machine in Supermarket Together

The pricing machine is an essential tool that will help you put the right prices on products. Here we will see how to put prices on products in Supermarket Together

When you first load into your store, you need to place some shelves or fridges and put some products in them. You can purchase products from the manager’s blackboard in the manager’s room. After the items have arrived and placed in storage, you or another employee can arrange them on the shelves. Now, you need to set the right prices before you open your store. Head back into the manager’s office and pick up one of the pricing machines on the table, then follow the steps below.

  • Head over to the shelf containing the product and aim at the price tag.
  • You will spot two rows on your machine. The top row tells you the current market value of the product, while the bottom row shows your current selling price
  • Use the scroll wheel on your mouse to increase or decrease your selling price
  • The general rule of thumb is to place the current selling price at least 10$+ or 20$+ more than the market price. You can start off with just a 10$+ increase, and if the customers are happy, you can try and tweak the price to 20$+ more.
  • Once you are done setting the price, don’t forget to right click to set the price on the product shelf. You can drop your pricing machine by pressing F.
  • Now all you have to do is wait for customers to flock in and see how they react to the prices in your store.
  • You can check your store log at the end of the day to know if you have any unhappy customers and if they complain about the prices being too high
  • Price can always be tweaked whenever you wish. You should keep in mind that on Tuesdays the prices will be set to an extreme low automatically, so recheck and adjust the product prices accordingly
