The Oscar Rod is one of the most important fishing rod in Fisch. This guide walks you through every step needed to get it, from locating the NPC Dead Man Joe, to finding a hidden Amulet buried beneath the sands of Atlantis, and finally going to an underwater cave to reach Oscar’s Locker.
How to get the Oscar Rod
First, you need to go to the Terrapin Island. Make sure you are in the second sea; only then can you start this quest. Now make your way to the Isle of New Beginnings. Here you will find an NPC, Dead Man Joe, to start the quest. You will find him right next to the merchant. His exact location is at coordinates: -377, 79, -447.9. Once you find Joe, talk to him. He will ask you to find an Amulet hidden in Grand Reef.
Now, to find the Amulet, start from the First Sea and reach the Grand Reef. When you reach the central island, you will find a broken ship. Under the broken ship, you will find a glowing object beneath the sand. That is the Amulet. You will find it at: -3560, 144, 481. Now, pick up the Amulet and return to Dead Man Joe.
Once you return with the Amulet and talk to Joe again. He will now send you to the Cursed Shores to find Oscar’s Locker. Inside the Locker, you will find the Oscar Rod. To reach Oscar’s Locker, head north of Cursed Shores.
Here, inside the water, you will find a hidden passage at: -340, 78, 1708.1. Remember, if you enter without the Amulet, your health will start to drain. Now, swim through the cave using a submarine. You will find Oscar’s Locker. Here, you can buy items. Oscar Rod will cost you E$ 5,000,000.
