Solution Vilverin Wendesel Press Block Puzzle in Oblivion Remastered – The Elder Scrolls 4

If you’re exploring Vilverin in Oblivion Remastered, you’ll eventually come across a puzzle in the Wendesel section. It might look confusing at first, but this guide will walk you through how to reach the puzzle room and solve it step-by-step. Along the way, you’ll fight some enemies, avoid deadly traps, and even grab some loot.

How to Reach the Press Block Puzzle in Vilverin Wendesel

When you enter Vilverin Wendesel, head down the stairs you’ll run into some undead enemies, so be ready for a fight. Watch out for the trap in the middle of the room; if you fall onto the spikes, it can easily kill you. After you’ve taken care of the enemies, go back upstairs and take the right path first, you’ll find a chest with some loot. Once you’ve grabbed that, take the other path, which will lead you to the room with the 6-Button Puzzle.

How to Solve the Press Block Puzzle in Vilverin Wendesel

In the puzzle room with six buttons, each one opens a hidden door along the sides of the room. Press the first button on the left to get a key that unlocks the next area. You can also explore the other hidden doors to find some chests with loot. If you’d rather skip the puzzle, you can try to pick the lock on the main door but it’s a tough one to crack.

You’ll see three block-shaped buttons. Press all three of them, and that’ll unlock the stone door in the back right corner. It might not look like anything happened at first the room it opens is super tiny, only about 5 centimeters deep. But look down on the floor inside, and you’ll spot an urn. Grab the key from it, and just like that, you’ve saved yourself from wasting a bunch of lockpicks trying to escape.

Once you get through the door, you’ll enter a room with a Varla Stone cage in the center. To open the cage, head upstairs and press the button there. After that, you can grab the Varla Stone. While you’re up there, follow the path it’ll lead you into the next section, called Vilverin Sel Sancremathi.
