In Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, there’s a fun little challenge hidden in the game: three mysterious red doors, each with a riddle to solve. If you manage to answer all three correctly, you’ll unlock the Sage trophy and achievement. These riddles aren’t just ordinary choices; pick the right answer and the door opens for you, but pick the wrong one and a black fog will send you away. In this guide, you’ll find where to find each riddle and which answers to choose so you can get them all in one go.
All Riddles Answer in Wuchang Fallen Feathers
Three unique puzzles are concealed in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. You can get the Sage trophy and accomplishment if you can successfully answer all three.
You’ll find these riddles behind mysterious red doors. Each one gives you two options to choose from. Pick the right answer, and the door will open, letting you walk through. Pick the wrong one, and a black fog will appear and teleport you away. Keep in mind: once you’ve opened a door with the correct answer, you can’t interact with it again in that playthrough.
First Riddle
The first riddle is found in the Corpse Pits area of Worship’s Rise. Starting from the Corpse Pits shrine, just follow the main path. As you make your way through the Tang Emperor Palace section, you’ll eventually come across the red riddle door. It’s right on the path, so it’s hard to miss.
You’ll find it just before the boss fights with Tang Palace Maid and Commander Honglan.
When you reach the door, choose “The winged ascension” as your answer. That’s the correct one. If you pick “Feathered Transcendence” instead, the door won’t open and you’ll get sent away by a cloud of black fog.
Second Riddle
The second riddle is in Cloudspire, in the Hillswatch area. When you start at the Hillswatch shrine, simply turn around and head back across the bridge. On the other side, look to your left, and you’ll see another red glowing door.
This one isn’t tied to any story progression, but solving it correctly rewards you with the Bridal Armour Set. When you reach the door, choose “Challenge the threads of fate.” That’s the right answer. If you pick “Follow the course of destiny,” the black fog will appear and you’ll be sent away.
Third Riddle
The third riddle is in Bo Capital, down in the Depths of the Capital. As soon as you arrive at the shrine, just look immediately to your left and you’ll spot the red riddle door.
When you interact with it, make sure to choose “The grand dream fades.” That’s the correct answer. Picking “The wheel turns anew” will trigger the black fog and send you away.
