Every day in GTA Online, a new shipwreck containing valuable rewards washes ashore somewhere along the coast of Los Santos and Blaine County. This daily collectible offers players a chance to earn GTA$25,000, 2,000 RP, and, for first-time collectors, pieces of the elusive Frontier outfit. This guide will provide you with the current location of today’s shipwreck, along with helpful tips for locating the treasure chest hidden within it.
Shipwreck Location in GTA Online
In GTA Online, the Shipwreck is a daily collectible that spawns at one of 30 possible locations. The spawn spot is the same for everyone, whether you’re in a public or private session.
When you find the Shipwreck, you’ll see a treasure chest near a wrecked longboat. Opening it gives you GTA$25,000 and 2,000 RP. If you’re collecting for the first time, the first seven chests will also reward you with an Outfit Scrap each, which you’ll need to unlock The Frontier outfit.
The Shipwreck spawns every day at 06:00 UTC. If you don’t see it in your current session, just quit and rejoin a new one then head to the correct location to start your treasure hunt!
The first seven Shipwreck chests you open will each contain an Outfit Scrap. Once you’ve collected all seven, you’ll unlock The Frontier outfit, which gives your character the look of an early American frontiersman.
To wear The Frontier outfit after unlocking it, just head to a clothing store or your wardrobe in any owned property. You’ll find it under the Outfits: Special section.
