If you want to unlock the powerful Infinity Face Paint in Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake Delta, you’ll first need to track down one of the game’s rarest creatures the Tsuchinoko. This snake is tricky to find since it doesn’t show up on your usual gadgets, but with the right method, you can catch it. Holding onto a Tsuchinoko until the end of the game is the key to earning the special reward, so it’s worth the effort.

The easiest way to catch a Tsuchinoko is in Graniny Gorki South. Use your sonar to find and take out every other animal in the area first. Once they’re all gone, the sonar will still show something moving that’s your Tsuchinoko. Head to that exact spot, set a few mousetraps, leave the area, and when you come back you should hear the trap go off.

Another good place to find one is in Bolshaya Past South, especially in the grassy patch near the tree trunk where you find the Desert Face Paint.

The Tsuchinoko is a rare snake you can come across in the game. What makes it tricky is that it won’t show up on your Motion Detector or Thermal Goggles, so you’ll need other ways to find it. The easiest method is to set up Mousetraps around the area and wait for it to get caught. You can also kill it if you want, and interestingly, when you shoot it, it makes a squeaking sound kind of like a rat.

The Tsuchinoko isn’t just rare it’s also considered a real treat in the game. If you eat it, Snake’s stamina will be completely restored. But here’s the fun part: if you manage to finish Metal Gear Solid 3 while still holding onto a Tsuchinoko in your inventory, you’ll earn the special “Tsuchinoko” rank. As a reward, you’ll unlock the Infinity Face Paint, which gives Snake unlimited ammo whenever he wears it.

Decided that degrees were as useful as extra lives in a Mario game-totally unnecessary! I’m diving into the extravagant universe of my favourite game, Assassin’s Creed, which lets me roam the world without actually paying for plane tickets. Hodophile by nature and aspiring to get lost in Hang Sơn Đoòng cave in Vietnam someday!
