Completing contracts is one of the best ways to earn rewards in Marathon. Triggering alarms in the South Complex can be confusing if you do not know where to go. This contract includes hacking a terminal, defeating a Security Commander, and downloading data from another location. This guide will show you how to trigger the alarms in the South Complex.
Trigger alarms in the South Complex by hacking a terminal
Go to the Complex area on the map. In the centre of this area, you will find many crates and locked doors underneath the bridge structure. Look for a small yellow building nearby. Inside this building, you will find the terminal. Interact with the terminal to start the alarm, which completes the first part of the contract.
After activating the terminal, a new objective will appear on the map. You now need to collect Security Commander credentials. A Security Commander enemy will spawn in the area. This enemy has a purple shield.
Before attacking, clear the surrounding enemies. Once the area is safe, focus on taking down the commander. You can defeat them faster by:
- Hitting precision shots
- Attacking together with teammates
- Sneaking behind them for a melee attack
After defeating the commander, pick up the credentials they drop. With the credentials, you need to download data from a terminal in South Maintenance.
Downloading data from a terminal
Go to the Maintenance area on the map. When you arrive, go toward the back entrance of the warehouse building where the ships are stored. Once inside:
- Stay on the ground level.
- Move toward the back of the warehouse.
- Look for the terminal in this section.
Use the credentials to access the terminal and download the data. After the download finishes, the contract will be completed.
