In Chapter 15 of DOOM: The Dark Ages, you’ll encounter a special challenge named the Torrent Challenge. If you can successfully complete it, you’ll get 50 Gold as a reward. How to Complete the Torrent Challenge in Chapter 15
To finish the Torrent challenge and receive 50 Gold, you must stun 8 or more demons simultaneously with the Heaven Splitter storm, and repeat this three times. Heaven Splitter is the fourth Shield Relic, so have it equipped before beginning. When you’re in a location where there’s a large crowd of demons, parry their green attack to trigger the Heaven Splitter storm and strike as many enemies as you can. You will encounter a crowd of Demons towards the end of Chapter 15.
How to Get the Heaven Splitter in Doom: The Dark Ages
Heaven Splitter becomes available in Chapter 14 of the story. Keep progressing through the main campaign, and you’ll unlock this powerful ability as part of your journey. When you parry a Hell Surge attack with Heaven Splitter equipped, it calls down a lightning strike that stuns nearby enemies for a short time. You can make this effect even stronger by upgrading Heaven Splitter. The Induction upgrade increases how long enemies stay stunned, Megaburst expands the area it affects, and Gigawatt adds a shock effect to the enemies hit.
