You can start the “Thirsty Farmers” quest after reaching the New Camp. The quest will be given to you by a guy named “Lefty”, you can find him near the rice farms inside the new camp. Lefty will ask you to supply water to the farmers working in the fields, you can accept or deny his request but keep in mind that if you deny his request you have to fight Lefty, since our character is not strong enough during the early game, it’s better to follow his orders. In this guide, I’ll show you where to find Lefty, where to find Ulmar and how to give water to farmers.
Finding Lefty
After you reach the New Camp, head towards the mine site inside and along the path to the mines, there will be 2 npc’s talking and as you get closer to them Lefty will ask you to provide water to the farmers working in the fields. If you accept his request, he will ask you to meet with Ulmar to get the water.
Finding Ulmar
Then turn right from Lefty and make your way towards the shack marked in the first image. You’ll find Ulmar inside the shack, speak with him and tell him that Lefty sent you to collect water. He is going to give you 10 bottles of water.
Giving Water to Farmers
After you’ve collected the water from Ulmar, go through the rice fields and talk with the farmers working in the rice fields. Then select the “Lefty sent me, I got you some water” dialog option from the dialog menu, your character will give out water to the farmer. Repeat this process with 9 other farmers across the rice fields. Upon giving out water to 10 farmers, go back to Lefty and speak with him, he will ask you to give water to farmers on a daily basis.
Note : If you miss out giving water, then Lefty will find you and fight you.
