In Monster Hunter Wilds, the quest A Desolate Destination marks a crucial turning point in Chapter 2. A Desolate Destination Quest
A Desolate Destination is the fifteenth main mission in Monster Hunter Wilds and the start of the third part of Chapter 2. At the Wind’s Gasp, the Hunter and their team witness the White Wraith siphoning energy from another monster before swiftly taking off. Determined to track it down, they head back to Azuz to continue the pursuit.
Talk to Werner in Azuz

After your battle with Rey Dau, head back to the Oilwell Basin and talk to Werner. You can fast travel there using your map for convenience. Before speaking with Werner, it’s a good idea to start preparing for your next monster encounter, even though it won’t happen right away.
Be sure to stock up on useful items like Antidotes, Energy Drinks, and Cleansers. While your Seikret provides some essential supplies during hunts, it’s not always enough. You’ll have access to a camp before the next fight, but Gemma won’t be available for gear upgrades, so make sure your equipment is in top shape before proceeding. The upcoming battle against Nerscylla presents a unique challenge due to its shifting elemental weaknesses.
To complete this mission, you need to find Werner in Azuz. To get Azuz start from your personal tent. Head towards the left from your tent and go down the stairs. You will see him standing there. He doesn’t have much useful information, but Satesh will show up and reveal the existence of an underground tunnel. After that, the chapter comes to an end.
