The Invaders of Oakveil 1.1 update for V Rising adds a new place called the Oakveil Woodlands, which is full of new content, including some hardcore bosses. This guide will show you where to find one of them, Stavros the Carver, and how to defeat him.
How to Defeat Stavros the Carver in V Rising 1.1
Stavros the Carver is one of the very first bosses you’d come across in Oakveil Woodlands. This fight also introduces the debuff corruption: a stack-adding ability that requires you to keep that stack count at a low number to be able to fight strong.
Being not alert could lead to accidentally aggroing nearby Venom Blades which quickly overwhelm you within a confined space, making it extremely difficult to dodge all incoming attacks.
Defeating the boss also grants access to a weapons coating system, a new system allowing players to enhance their weapons with very powerful effects.

Stavros can be found at the Carvers Logging Outpost, located in the western region of the Oakveil Woodlands.
