Solve the Gel Cleaning Station Puzzle in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5

Solving the Gel Cleaning Station Puzzle 

First, examine the symbol pattern in the room in order from left to right until you can memorize it completely, then turn your black light on and search the area of the turbine for any switches that are marked with those symbols. Activate the switched symbols by pressing the correct switch one at a time. You will hear an audible cue that you have successfully activated that switch, and the turbine will no longer be spinning.

Move across to your right while looking at the turbine that has been turned off. Immediately look up and you’ll see a magnet. Grab it and pull it towards you on the walk up (the walkway is located directly at the end right of the turbine). Pull yourself up onto this magnetic platform and step off the top of it into the elevated area of the station.

Crossing the Turbine Tunnel

Stand on the center platform and position yourself to face the tunnel entrance. There are two green controls located at opposite ends of the tunnel. Activate the green control on the right first, then activate the left. This will allow you to open the tunnel just long enough for you to hold onto the magnetic panel on the inside of the tunnel to push yourself through.

If you happen to miss, you will fall into the turbine area but can get back into the tunnel from inside to try again. Don’t exit the room yet if you want to collect the hidden prize.

Golden Chum: Hidden Room Solution

Return to the upper walkway and smash the solidified goo found in the corner to discover an unmarked room. Use the magnet on the ceiling to bring yourself up. Once at the top, push down on the little crate so that it lands on the bottom level and use it to cross over the piping.

At the bottom machine, activate the switch and pull the lever before the liquid hits the red mark. Go back to the top machine and repeat the same thing, but this time wait for the liquid to settle in between the two green markers before pulling the lever.

Also at the top level, turn the red valve. This will freeze the goo underneath and you can destroy it with a pressure hand only.

Final Route to the Collectible

Locate a small red button on a nearby wall to open an upper door. Press this using the wall magnet to increase your timer.

Climb the wall, turn and launch yourself to reach the walkway on the other magnetic surface. After doing so enter the door that opened and drop down to get the Golden Chum.
