The Snap and Salvage quest in ARC Raiders asks you to take a photo, find a security room, and collect two items. ARC Raiders Snap and Salvage Quest
In the ARC Raiders Snap and Salvage quest, Tian Wen asks you to check out a few spots inside the facility and bring a few specific items. You need to find the Sandboxes, Papers, Flow Controller and Magnetron. Here’s how you can find all of them.
How to Reach the Sandbox
Your first task is to take a picture of the sandboxes. There are two Robotic Sandboxes that you will find in this area: Robotic Sandbox B and Robotic Sandbox A. Here’s where you can get them.
Robotic Sandbox B
To find Robotic Sandbox B, begin in the Atrium area. From there, go through the doors and climb down the ladder. Just follow the signs that lead to the Robotic Sandbox. Here, you will find a few enemies.
After you clear out the enemies, go down, and you will find the ‘Robotic Sandbox B’ sign. Move forward and take a left to find the rover. Go up to it and use the interaction point to take the photo.
Robotic Sandbox A
If you’re coming from a different direction, you can also head to Robotic Sandbox A, which is a bit farther north. Follow the signs, reach the sandy area, and you will find another rover there. You can take the picture from multiple angles; any of them will work.
Search the Papers in the Lobby Security Room
Once you’ve taken the picture, your next goal is to find the Security Checkpoint near the lobby. If you’re coming from Robotic Sandbox A, look for the Western Tunnel. Follow the signs for it, but be careful, there are mini-bosses along the way. Keep heading through the tunnel until you reach the Lobby Metro. Go upstairs from there to access the main lobby.
Inside the lobby, you will find the security gates. Take a left from there to find a room marked with a ‘Security Restricted Access’ sign. Enter the room and take a right. This is the security checkpoint. On the counter inside, you will find the papers you need to search. Interact with them.
How to Find the Flow Controller & Magnetron
Now you need to collect two items: the Flow Controller and the Magnetron. Both of these are Exodus items, which only drop from specific locations. On the Stella Montis map, these Exodus items only appear in two places: Assembly Workshops and Business Centre.
Your best farming spot is the Assembly Workshops, which are just north of the Assembly Area. Exodus items usually come from loot crates, so check all the crates between the two main buildings in Assembly Workshops, and don’t forget to look inside the control rooms; these often have extra crates as well.
The Business Centre also has several suitcases you can loot, and there’s a chance the items will drop from them. Here, look for breachable lockers, drawers, and loot spots. Search through as many of them as you can to find the Flow Controller and Magnetron.
If you don’t want to enter the Stella Insanity zone yet, another good option is the Spaceport. The Rocket Assembly Area also drops Exodus items. Look for the red lockers, they’re the ones most likely to contain what you need. Once you have both items, make sure to put at least one of them in your Safe Pocket, because you must safely extract with them for the quest to count.
Rewards
After you bring the Magnetron and Flow Controller to Tian Wen, the Snap and Salvage quest will be completed. After completing the quest, you will be rewarded with the Burletta III weapon, the Silencer II attachment, the Extended Light Mag attachment, and 100 Light Ammo.
