The burgeoning world of Hyland Point, as presented in the early access title “Schedule 1,” is poised for significant expansion. Developers at TVGS have outlined an ambitious roadmap, promising a cascade of updates designed to deepen immersion and amplify gameplay. From the introduction of new illicit substances and dynamic weather systems to enhanced property customization and high-stakes cartel conflicts, the future of “Schedule 1” looks to be packed with exciting additions. This document will delve into the announced features, providing a comprehensive overview of the upcoming changes that will reshape the landscape of Hyland Point.
Upcoming Updates in Schedule 1
We’re not sure when the next update for Schedule 1 will drop, since the game just launched in early access on March 24, 2025. That said, the Trello board hints at monthly updates, so we might see the first one sometime in mid to late April. In a recent post, the developers at TVGS also mentioned that they plan to roll out monthly updates “for the next few years” which is definitely exciting news.
New Drugs & Manufacturing Options
Soon, you’ll have access to an expanded selection of drugs, including shrooms, MDMA, and heroin. Existing products like weed, cocaine, and meth will also come in new forms, with the ability to manufacture items like weed edibles or cocaine rocks.
Fishing & Dynamic Weather
A fun fishing minigame is on the way, where you can reel in rare finds like gold bars or bricks of cocaine. Weather will also add a fresh layer of realism, bringing clear skies, overcast conditions, rain, and even lightning storms. NPCs will react accordingly—think umbrellas in the rain and puddles forming on the ground.
Property Upgrades & Customization
You’ll be able to truly make your space your own with new customization options, including wallpapers, lighting, and exterior paint for added privacy and security. Renovations will let you create a unique look that stands out.
Cartel Conflicts & Risky Deals
Cartel activity is about to get more intense. Expect ambushes, property attacks, and interruptions during sales. On the flip side, you’ll also have the chance to raid cartel meetups and steal supplies, adding a whole new level of thrill to the game.
Parkour & Better Movement
Get ready to move like never before! A new vaulting and climbing system will let you scale fences and higher surfaces, making navigation much more fluid and dynamic.
New Areas to Explore
The map is expanding! A new ghetto area in the southwest will open up, while a gated community in the northeast will offer a more upscale experience. You might even get the chance to purchase a modern house in this fresh territory.
Quality-of-Life Enhancements
- Hired Drivers: Move product, cash, and items between properties without lifting a finger.
- More Police Interactions: Expect a stronger police presence, with the ability to break into evidence rooms and recover confiscated goods after an arrest.
- Custom Packaging & Labels: Design your own packaging and labels to personalize your operation.
Extra Features & Improvements
There are plenty of other exciting changes on the horizon, including vehicle trunk break-ins, new emotes, improved controller support, and even an official Steam Deck version!
With all these updates, Hyland Point is about to get even more immersive, intense, and fun. Stay tuned.
