The Principe Treasuer Hunt in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag is part of various treasure hunts. The game leads you to a specific clue; the treasure map that is found in Port Royale, but the treasure is buried all the way in Principe, Africa. And the only way to get to Principe is to progress to the main storyline where you need to find Roberts a.k.a The Sage. Treasure Map Location
The Principe Treasure Map can be found in Port Royale which is located near Kingston. Head to the marked location shown on the map and look for a skeleton. Loot the skeleton to obtain the treasure map.
Reaching Principe
The treasure map gives you a landmark clue and coordinates, but these coordinates are applicable in a new location altogether; Africa. The only way to get to Africa is to progress the main storyline. Principe is actually the initial island you visit when you reach Africa.
Treasure Location
After you reach Principe, head to the marked location shown on the above map image near the docks. Then look for the landmark shown in the treasure map and dig the marked spot to uncover the treasure chest.
Looting the treasure chest will reward you with 2500 Reales and a Standard Bearer collectible.
