“A Good Scrub” is a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, where you help Betty, the bathhouse owner in Kuttenberg, revive her struggling business. To unlock this quest, you must first complete the main quest, Speak of the Devil. Your tasks include picking up a package, traveling through different market streets, and returning to Betty to clean up the bathhouse. “A Good Scrub” is a side quest you can get from Betty, the Bathhouse Owner. She needs your help to get her new bathhouse up and running. To begin the A Good Scrub side quest, head to the large building west of Gunmaker Prokop Eldris’ shop and speak to Bathhouse owner Betty. If you’re unsure of the location, an inn’s quest tipster may point you in the right direction. Betty is struggling to get her bathhouse business back on its feet and needs your help.
Picking Up the Package
Talk to Betty, the bathhouse owner, and then head to the area marked on your map in Grund to pick up a package. Find Wagoner Matsek there and tell him Betty sent you. He’ll admit he’s worried people think he’s doing something shady by bringing Betty’s girls to town.
Convince him he’s not doing anything wrong, then go talk to the girls and tell them it’s time to go. Finally, go to Matsek’s wagon and leave with him and the girls. Be careful. You can actually mess up bringing the girls to the bathhouse. It’s a good idea to wear clothes that boost your Charisma so they’ll be more likely to listen to you.
Tips
- Before you can start A Good Scrub, you must complete the main quest, Speak of the Devil. If the quest isn’t available, check with a quest tipster at an inn for guidance.
- When convincing Wagoner Matsek and the girls, wearing high-charisma clothing will increase your chances of persuasion. This helps smooth out negotiations and ensures the girls follow you without resistance.
- If you fail to convince Matsek or the girls properly, the mission can go sideways. Make sure to reassure Matsek that he’s not involved in anything shady, and speak confidently when telling the girls to come along.
- Doing a thorough job earns you 100 Groschen and a discount at the Kingfisher Bathhouse, making it worth your time to complete every objective carefully.
